In case you were bored with the traditional chocolate chip cookie.... this recipe is really easy and super tastey! Enjoy!
Tip: Instead of using a food processor, I generally just put the graham crackers in a ziploc bag and crush them with my hands or feet, always a good job for little kids.
We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun!

Travel Dates
So, since I haven't ever been able to jump on the "journal" band wagon, I wanted to document some travel dates for myself. So this post is more for me than anyone else, since I use this blog in lieu of a journal.
It occured to me on my flight back from St. George this weekend, that I have spent a ridiculous amount of time on an airplane since I met Henry. Luckily it is no where near as much time as my Dad has spent, but it has been an adventure for me all the same. So here is a little timeline of my travels in the past year and a half:

IPOD Issues....
So I am here sitting by the pool, in lovely 75-80 degree weather, and for the life of me I can't seem to get my Ipod out of "Hold" mode. Any suggestions? I have spent over half an hour sitting here in the sun, you know you feel bad for me..., and I can't get the darn button to move! I have tried my room key, the edge of the suntan lotion, my fingernail. Nothing is working it is totally stuck! So I would love any suggestions that you may have because I finally have my ipod charged and ready to go, but it is of no use to me if I can't get that blasted button to move a few millimeters!!!
You Can't Make This Stuff Up!
So it all began last Thursday night when Hen and I had to run some errands after work. Even though I had driven to work that day, we decided it would be easier if he just came and picked me up. So we finish our errands and pull into the garage, as we realize my car is still at work. Now Hen goes to work at 6am, so that just wasn't going to work for me the next morning. So I call my good ole buddy, ole pal Jacy up to see if I can get a ride to work with her in the morning. She says no problem, so I think we are good to go.
Fast forward to Friday morning.
Ring
Ring
"Hey Kara you won't believe what I just did"
"Oh Jacy, did you drive all the way to work and forget me?"
"No worse, I just locked myself out of the house and my car keys are inside"
"You have got to be kidding me!"
Then I think to myself I have one of Jacy's keys since I watch her cats when she goes out of town. Now my only problem is getting to her house. Granted she lives only a couple miles away, but it has been quite a while since my bike has been tuned up, and walking would just take too long, plus it was raining.
Then it dawns on me, maybe my next door neighbor Jana can take me over. So I call Jana. She informs me that she could take me but that she is doing someones hair in the next 10 min and won't be able to move her appointment. Which by the way was for a cute little old lady who was going to a funeral.
Then she has the bright idea that I can just drive her car. I think sweet! Ingenious! I will just drive over to Jacy's and give her a key, then she can follow me back to Jana's and we can go to work. Sounds simple right?
Wrong!!
As I am walking next door to jump in Jana's car (carrying my make-up bag because I didn't have time to put make-up on, because of course I got ready at the last second) I realize that the keys Hen used that morning at 6am to drive to work, had the key to Jacy's house on them.
As if this situation couldn't get anymore ridiculous!
So I jump in Jana's car, drive over and pick Jacy up, then we are off to Henry's work to get the key to Jacy's place. In the rain, we drive laughing because we swear these things only happen to us!
After picking up the key we drive back to Jacy's where she finally gets her keys to follow me back to Jana's and then we do what any normal people would do.
Since are already half an hour late to work, we decide to go to Jamba Juice, because frankly we deserved one!
We did make it to work in one piece with our boss shaking his head and laughing. I am sure he was also concerned that these two absentminded people ran so much of his department's day to day tasks....
I wish the story ended here.....but unfortunately it does not.
Fast forward to the end of the work day.
My car is sitting down in the garage at work. I go to get my keys out of my purse....but they are not there!
Of all the absurdities in the world, this is just the icing on the cake. I search my mind trying to figure out what in the world I did with them yesterday.
So here is the part where everything happens for a reason.....
Thursday morning I had also been running late and had brought my makeup bag to work and had absentmindedly put my keys in my makeup bag.
As I sat in my desk on Friday afternoon, trying to figure out what in the world I did with those keys, I decide to put some lipstick on because my lips are dry. I open my makeup bag for the lipstick and my keys fall out.
Hallelujah!!!!
So I am not quite sure what the moral of this story is, other than it is amazing how much we depend on keys and I am so grateful that Jana let me borrow her car that morning, I owe her big time! So make friends with your neighbors, because you never know when they will come to the rescue!
