On Saturday February 15, Hen, my Dad, and myself decided to drive down to Manti to do a session at the temple there. It was a really great day and I enjoyed spending quality time with my Dad and Hen.
We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun!

We will never forget you Cali Bear!!
We had noticed Cali starting to limp more and more, so we took Cali to the vet on Saturday, February 1st to find out what was wrong. The vet knew right away that the lump on Cali's right leg was a tumor caused by bone cancer. She took an x-ray that showed the damage that had been done to her leg. We knew that the leg must be causing her a lot of pain, so we made the best decision we could for Cali and decided to say goodbye. It was a very difficult day, having had to put Brody down just one year earlier. Luckily Henry was there and Maveu our roommate who had grown very attached to Cali in the short time he had lived with us was there as well. My mom was also able to drive down to say goodbye. She passed so peacefully and I know she is up in Heaven running around with Brody having a grand ole time. We will miss her forever! She was such a perfect dog!!! I had rescued Cali in February 2007. She was at arrow kennels in Murray, Utah. We were told at the time that she was picked up with a pack of dogs roaming in the Uintah mountains. She was so skinny and malnourished that her hair was falling out at the time. Then she came to live with us, and her and Brody became two peas in a pod and were inseparable until the day he passed away. Cali was our first baby girl and we will never forget her! She has the sweetest temperament! We believe she was around 10-11 years old when she went to heaven but we never really knew.
