We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun!

New Addition
It's official!! Meet our new addition Jady!! She is a 3 year old special
needs Newfoundland with hip and elbow dysplasia. Poor Jady is a result
of bad breeding but she is not going to let that keep her down! She is
an absolute sweetheart and I guarantee you will fall in love her just
like we did. So we are just going to enjoy whatever time we get to have
with her!

As my sabbatical comes to an end….
I have enjoyed my sabbatical more than words can say!! I am so grateful for a job that would give me this time off to take some great trips and spend some wonderful time with my family!!! And I so grateful for my co workers that covered for me so that I could take this time off!!! I came across the following quote during this time and it pretty much sums up what I have learned while being on my sabbatical.
I truly hope I can remember this Life Motto as I go back to work and life gets crazy again!

An afternoon at the Brigham City Temple with Dad
My Dad and I decided to drive to Brigham City to do some work in the new temple there. For the session there were only 60 seats available. 30 for appointments and 30 for walk ins. When we arrived in the foyer my Dad realized he forgot his recommend out in the car so he had to run back out to find it. Luckily I thought I better just go ahead and check in without him. Well I did and we ended up getting the last two walk in seats available! The session was wonderful and I think this is one of my new favorite temples. It is truly beautiful on the inside! Afterwards we went to Maddox's up the street, because frankly who wouldn't?
The tabernacle is right across the street from the temple.

6 Year Anniversary
I was so pleasantly surprised to receive the beautiful bouquet of flowers below from Henry for our anniversary. Six Calla Lilies for 6 years of marriage. And the colors and flowers were the same as my bridal bouquet. I appreciate how truly thoughtful Henry can be! Sometimes, on a rare occasion, he can be quite the romantic! Thank you Hen, I absolutely love them!
For those of you not familiar, The Roof Restaurant is on the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building downtown that looks over temple square. The views are amazing and the food is fabulous! I would highly recommend it. This was the first time we had ever been there. We will definitely be going back in the future.

Aruba, Jamaica, Oooh, I wanna take ya!
On September 9th I had he wonderful opportunity to take a trip with my Mom to Aruba for 8 nights! We had the time of our lives! It is quite the trek to get there, but it was well worth it!!
I knew it was going to be a great trip when it started out with "Linus" sitting next to me on our flight from SLC to ATL. He literally had that blanket over his head the whole time!!
Views from our room up and down the beach.
A night out to dinner, Our tan's are starting to really show
View from our Palapa
Bathing Beauties, you will notice there were no waves! You could float in the ocean for hours, and believe me, we did!
View from the Elevator
On our last day my mom convinced me that we needed to ride Great Big Mable, so a boat took us out and pulled/whipped/basically threw us all around. It was a blast!
Room number 770 was second to last floor and the second window in from the left.
Last day photos, we may be smiling but we are crying on the inside because we are about to get on the plane!
Oh and we can't forget about all the friendly iguanas!
