Bear Lake Camping

Hen and I's favorite place to camp is up St. Charles canyon on the Idaho side of Bear Lake. We left early Wednesday morning with the car packed to camp for one night.... maybe we will go for at least two nights next time.... We enjoyed the lake Wednesday afternoon and camping in the evening. And of course we had to have some of those delicious famous raspberry shakes! 

One funny story that happened was at the campground. There was a family reunion going on near our campsite and I went in to use the restroom and this lady came in the bathroom singing "Who is in the bathroom with me?" and I responded in song "Somebody you don't know". We both laughed through the stalls because she probably thought I was someone from her family reunion...

Wendover or Bust! Martina McBride Concert with Mom!

While he was living in Wendover, my sweet husband bought me a floor seat ticket to the Martina McBride concert. Since he had to work that night my mom went with me and we had a blast. It was a great concert!

California or Bust! Trip to LA for Hen work training

Back in July Hen had to go to LA for a couple of days for work training so I decided to tag along. We had a fun few days driving along the coast to the different beaches and seeing some old friends.

On the flight over Hen and I were unfortunately in middle seats but hey when the price is right $0, you can't complain! I ended up winning two in flight poker tournaments...it was pretty sweet!

A little VA over the 4th!

 For Hen's birthday we were able to go back to Virginia for a visit. It was a fun filled weekend with family, fireworks, and great food! We even went to Hen's old ward where he ran into some buddies from his school days.

We love this woman more than there are stars in the sky! She always has us in stitches! If I live to be 90 I want to be just like her!
