Scottish Rite Banquet Dinner

Henry made it to 32nd Degree in Scottish Rite today. What an awesome experience it was for him. Well worth it to any of my brothers who are thinking of joining. Thanks again to all of the guys who put it on! Huge amount of time and work!

Just Smile and Wave Boys, Smile and Wave

He was driving around in the below “land yacht”, (don’t ask me why we have this car). Anyway, he came to a cross walk and stopped to let some boys cross. He guessed they were about 7 years old. As the boys passed by the car, one of the boys said to the others “smile and wave boys, smile and wave, that is a big Mercedes” Gotta love Madagascar!

No More Crutches!

On April 4th I had ankle surgery to remove a bump, remove fragments of broken bone from when I broke my ankle as a teen, and repair ligaments. Fast forward to today, April 16th and this was my post.

Yeah buddy!! Just got cleared to lose the crutches!! This whole process has given me such an appreciation for walking that I took so much for granted! Still have the sexy boot for 6 weeks, but just having the freedom of walking is soooo great!! Minus the painful inflammation, but that too shall pass! So pay attention next time you just get up and walk to do anything!! It is such a wonderful blessing!
