Our poor Lucy has had a ruff couple of days. She threw her guts out on Wednesday, didn't eat that night or Thursday morning, so we went to the ER in layton just to discover she had the eviqualent to human food poisoning. She was so weak and tired poor thing. Finally started eating again this morning. She is still super weak. Hoping she gets back to her usual crazy self soon.

Sweet Baby James

Being married to a mechanic is seriously the best! I love this guy! He fixed the air conditioning in my almost 20 year old convertible after many, many, mechanics and many, many hours couldn't figure it out at a shop we took it to recently. The complexity of the repair was even more impressive as he took apart the console and followed the circuits to find the one bad one that was causing all of the issues and repaired it. He also recently installed new wind breakers that cut down so much on my hair being blown around, that I have never had. Thank you Henry Joseph Becker IV! You know your wife is grateful when she has happy tears over you fixing something desperately needed in her favorite car! Love ya forever! Can’t believe we have had this car 11 years!

Redecorating

 Oh you know, just a typical Saturday night of redecorating courtesy of Lucy… the second picture is where that rug is supposed to go… What? Do they need a runway just to go in and out of the dog door? I mean I know we call her our princess, but never actually thought she would take it literally…

So after dinner this evening Henry wanted to check out a new casino nearby and I told him I would be staying in the car and he could go in for as long as it would take me to finish this skein of yarn. So what does he do? He takes the sku off of the yarn and on the way there,  stops off at Walmart. He walks out with three more skeins!! Usually I am pretty on my game, and not easily caught off guard. But he totally got me! You can’t make this stuff up!

Hen Birthday Message Video

The below is Hen's chocolate birthday cake that his Mom prepared for him along with a local baker. Since Hen is spending so much time doing embalming's these days, it was so fitting. The toe tag was my favorite part. The cake not only looked awesome, but also tasted fabulous!

So Henry, since he is the IVth, has always told me he could have totally been born a king and would have been a great king! Although he probably would have had many lose their heads! I found this present on a website called turnmeroyal. This particular template is named "His Royal Majesty". I wish I had on video when I unveiled this gift. His smile and laugh were priceless! When we arrived home from our trip he propped that thing up in our bedroom, I was like OH NO, that is going in your office or the basement. LOL

Happy 4th of July!

I am so grateful to live in this beautiful country with the freedoms we enjoy! This song gets me every time I hear it, especially the older I get. How blessed we are for this land to be our home. Happy 4th of July Weekend! Hoping everyone has a safe and enjoyable time with friends and family!
