We hired someone to clean up the beds in the front and back yards and it looks soo good!
We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun!

Wedding Eve Anniversary
On this day thirteen years ago…
Henry and I had just flown to Virginia and Cheryl K Becker had thrown us a fabulous Bachelor/Bachelorette party! It went crazy late and Hen still had to drive me to the hotel where my sister and parents were staying before our wedding the next day. I probably only slept a few hours before I woke up to have my sister do my hair and to get ready to be married in the Washington DC Temple. I’m sure there were butterflies and many thoughts of “ am I doing the right thing, or is this just plain crazy?” But I remember the next day kneeling across from Hen at the alter in the sealing room completely calm and at peace. At that point I knew everything was going to be okay. I wouldn’t trade Hen for the world, because he has become my world over the last 13 years. Marriage isn’t always easy, but it has been worth it. He is my happily ever after that still makes me laugh daily. So glad you found me Hen! Couldn’t have been easy searching the entire internet for me!

Bath Day
Beckercrew chronicles no. 4,322…
It’s bath day… No one can focus to go to the bathroom before we leave. Somehow they know we are about to leave. I am clearly half asleep. Lots of back talk, oh and Oscar almost pushed me down the stairs… how’s your morning?
Looking beautiful and handsome after their baths!

There is a first for everything...
I must be crazy… I picked up a hitchhiker tonight. Shh… don’t tell Hen or my mom, they would probably kill me… I passed him twice and I just felt like it was ok. (At 10:15pm none the less…)After finding out where he needed to go, I said “you aren’t going to do anything weird right?” He was like “no.”
What was I thinking? that he would actually admit that he was going to do something weird?!? Ended up being an 18 year old kid that just moved here from Arkansas. Picked him up by our old house and took him to a house in north salt lake behind Lees. He seemed so tired.
He had been in Clearfield helping his stepmom. This is one of those “don’t try at home folks stories, or do as I say, not as I do” especially you girls when you are alone, but maybe I have no fear, or just decided to trust my guardian angels tonight…. But everything turned out to be ok and I can’t imagine how tired he would have been if he had to walk that whole way.
Sometimes we just have to follow our promptings and have a little faith. I said to him sorry about the whole “don’t do anything weird comment”. He said “it’s ok, I get it.” I said to him “I have decided to trust that there are more good people than bad in this world, despite what the news wants us to believe.” He said “ya.”.

Cleaning out my home office
Since we moved in two and a half years ago, I had yet to conquer my office and closet full of things from our past. Most had been packed into the closet in my downstairs office. It took me approx 20 hours to go through and get it from Before to After. So glad to have it over with! It has been in the back of my mind for so long. And with working from home, I couldn't stand it being so unorganized.
Here is the Before
Here is the after
One box I came across of items my mom had saved.
The below was actually my ribbons from completion of Personal Progress when I was a Young Women's leader ten years ago.
Awards from Swim Teams, Music-Playing the violin, and Volleyball
