Our Honeymoon in St. Kitts for 8 Fabulous Days! And even better nights...wink wink :)

So I tripped over the below shell in the water and Henry fished it out. I say it is a sign of good luck!

On the left is the Atlantic Ocean and on the right is the Carribbean

On our way to the Island of Nevis (prounced knee-vis by the locals)-and yes Henry is extremely burnt at this point...

Church in St. Kitts on our last day. It was a very humbling experience. We felt the spirit strong as we attended fast and testimony meeting with the saints there. The closest temple to them is in Santo Domingo, which is an extremely expensive trip for them to take. We are so blessed to have temples close to us. It was also interesting to have Relief Society held in the kitchen due to the lack of space in the small building.

Phone booth in the city of Basseterre, the capitol of St. Kitts. Just remember everyone drives on the left hand side, there are no stoplights whatsoever on the island and very few stop signs. Also no speed limit and you are aloud to drink and drive, just not be drunk and drive.

St. Kitts people population 35,000, monkey's 100,000!!!

Henry at Fort Brimstone. This actually has a very interesting history, see the following website for background. http://www.geographia.com/stkitts-nevis/knbrim01.htm

National Tree of St. Kitts- The Flamboyant Tree, it is hard to tell from the picture but the orange buds are incredibly bright and gorgeous!

Me and my new hubby in Pink in front of Frigate Bay.

You can faintly see the line "Russ" where the Atlantic ocean meets the Caribbean.

Frigate bay in St.Kitts this is where our hotel was- So beautiful!!

The only black sand beach on St. Kitts (short for St. Christopher Columbus)
