Jade eye surgery

 Poor Jade had to have surgery to get her eyelashes to stop curling in and scratching her cornea so this is the aftermath. She has long blue stitches that made her look like she had fancy false eyelashes for a while.She is has recovered great and now we don't have to worry about her going blind in either of her eyes because her entropion is gone.

This was before I found the better collar for her to wear to keep her from scratching at her stitches.

New e-collar, she liked this one alot better and even figured out how to fit through the dog door with it. Can't say it was so great on the dog door though...

The Batman Party!

It was my Dad's birthday so of course we had to have a Batman themed party! Love this photo with my immediate family and nieces and nephews! CoCo's face is priceless!

 My sister and her boys came over to the house for a visit to see the dogs and check out the new floors and my new bed.

Henry caught a unicorn!!

There is a saying that has been floating around this Becker household for the last 7 years. And that is that trying to get hired by Delta Airlines ( my husbands dream company) is like trying to catch a unicorn. Well we are so excited to share that Henry Joseph Becker IV has caught a unicorn!! We are over the moon that not only will he be working for main line Delta as an A&P mechanic, but it will be in Salt Lake City none the less!! We truly thought he would have to put in time at another station in another state before getting a chance to work in Salt Lake! We feel so blessed and our countless prayers have truly been answered! Everything happens for a reason and while patience and faith in the Lords plan isn't always easy, He always makes sure it's worth it! Congratulations Henry!! I love you! I'm proud of you!! And I hope we don't drive each other crazy with you being home 24-7! Then again I'm sure those flight benefits will come in handy when we need a little space from life... And or each other! Oh and he starts June 8th, 12 days and counting...

Date night at Bountiful Temple

I so cherish these date nights with my EC! It's also very special to do family names! Thanks to my Aunt Cheri for preparing a family name for me to do.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is always a hard day for me for obvious reasons, but I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful Mom that I can still call anytime I want and that is truly my best friend. She was with my sister this weekend, so I just spent the day with my Dad, Sister, and niece.

I also found this blog that was a comfort to me because I could relate to so many things in it.

A fun visit to my sisters

 I got to visit my sister in Illinois and we went to the awesome St. Louis Zoo!

Conference Sunday

I love Conference Sunday! And clearly Lily was enjoying a little too much....
