Hen was leaving his usual Tuesday evening Bountiful Temple shift to find this on his car and on the other cars still in the parking lot. A fellow ordinance worker also spotted President Nelson leaving the parking lot that evening. And word has it, this isn't the first time he and/or Wendy have left these notes. What a special gift to walk out to.
We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun!

Girls Camp August 11-14th
Just spent a fun few days at our Sterling Heights Ward YW girls camp. The girls and leaders stayed at a leaders family cabin in Midway, UT. I stayed at nighttime with my Mom at the Homestead resort which was nice. Although I scared her each night I came back so late trying to get in the room when the key card wouldn't work. We played games and the girls did a lot of beading. We sang camp songs and spent time at Jordanelle on the last day. It was really fun to get to know the girls and leaders better and feel of their sweet spirits and enjoy their testimonies.

Way to Go Hen!
Awesome job Henry Joseph Becker IV being selected to be one of the three featured on the SLCC Business School Page Success Stories! You have come so far in your career and educational pursuits! Just when I think your brain couldn’t hold any more, you manage to squeeze more in! Congratulations!!
Sabbatical Day One
Sabbatical day one- woke up at 6am… dang internal clock. ✅ Spent time with doggos. ✅ Learned a new complex board game with Henry Joseph Becker IV. (Wingspan)✅ At the nail salon for a much needed mani/pedi. ✅ May even take a nap today!! I could get used to this. What is retirement age again? So far haven’t checked my work email since I left the office Friday. So proud of myself(you seriously don’t know how hard that is). Hopefully it can last. It feels so nice not to think about anything!!#workhardplayhard

Yeah!
Tomorrow is my last day of work before my 6 week sabbatical starts! I’m already getting the Marie Kondo itch for house projects!! It hasn’t felt real to get this time off for a second time in my career, but it’s starting to sink in finally. Looking forward to a lot of R and R, much needed organization, and family time!

Shaking my head...
I just can't with this guy! Trying to play 20 questions. Let's start with the beginning. After your first question is "person" and I say "no", how is the next question, "name"? Secondly, who wastes a question on "hag", especially when person and name had already been answered as no? "Dead or alive" is clearly not a yes or no question. Then once he gets a yes for animals, immediately goes specific to nicknames of our dogs. Most people after guessing animals, might go for the obvious next question "land or water"... This is followed by the question "big", which I indicate is No. Wouldn't that make any normal person assume it was small? Not my husband, his next question is "Small"... Then I say to him- small is relative, like smaller than a bear? He says to me, no. Smaller than a cat. So I answer No it isn't smaller than a cat. So how does bird become the next question? Unless he was thinking like an ostrich...is that really a bird? Finally he gets the right answer out of nowhere which clearly means he looked over my shoulder at my screen. On most occasions I do not question my husband's intelligence. I know his mind is full of extremely technical things, but sometimes I do have to wonder about the logical paths his mind takes to come to a conclusion.... Sigh....Cheryl K Becker did you never teach your son how to play 20 questions?
