Heidi Comes for a Visit!

We are so thrilled to have Heidi (Hen's sister) come to visit us for the weekend from VA! Though I think the dogs came as quite a shock they all seem to be getting along great!

We decided to take the front runner train by our house for the first time up to the air show to avoid traffic... ended up being a big mistake, because the buses that were transporting to and from the train had waits that took a couple hours. Needles to say, we won't ever be doing that again...

Clone? or Twin? So Hen and I are watching the air show and I glance to my right to see someone who has almost the exact profile of my dad! Am I crazy or are the similarities uncanny?

A little while back Hen and Chase went to the Grand Prix races at Larry Miller Sportspark. They had a blast while I enjoyed a peaceful afternoon at my Mom's.

Don't worry, your eyes do not need to be checked. Yes you are infact seeing a Minivan being pulled from a ditch at a local Salt Lake Sonic on June 1, 2009. And unfortunately yes that is the woman driver standing to the side in pink. I have to admit when Hen and I arrived on the scene for our favorite cream slushes, the tow truck was not yet present. We pulled in to see the lady sitting in her car completely stuck. One tire in the ditch and the other in the road. I have to admit this was something I had never seen before. And how embarrassing! I felt so bad for this woman! And I thought I was having a bad day! She definitely takes the cake, or slushie that is!
