Welcome to the family Lily Bear!

On December 28th, Hen, Cali, and I got in the SUV and drove to a dog rescue in Park City to meet a 3 year old St. Bernard named Lily. Little did we know at the time that her timing coming into our family couldn't have been more perfect! We have grown so close to Lily in such a short time and don't know where we would be without her! She has fit right in.

Isn't she beautiful? It is quite crazy how similar she looks like Brody, but believe me when I say she has a personality all her own!

Her and Cali just chillin while I worked from home one day.

Can I get you a pillow Lily? Perhaps a blankie?

December Fun with Family

For Christmas this year my sister Breanne and her family flew in from O'Fallon, Illinois to be home for Christmas! It was so much fun to have them here!

I think Chase is pretty comfy in that nice conference chair :)

Annual tradition of Christmas Eve at Benihana's! We always get that warm feeling!

Cheryl and Rick surprise the heck out of us!

So I am sitting in my office at work and all of a sudden were my eyes failing me? Was I having a hallucination? No! Hen's parents Cheryl and Rick had flown out from Virginia and were standing in front of me! What a wonderful surprise! Just in time for Christmas! Now I have to back this story up a little bit. I happened to be their second visit since coming to Utah. Their first visit was a drive out to Wendover to surprise Hen at his work. I think they practically gave him a heart attack! Then Hen was forced not to mention it to me that night on the phone when we talked. I am sure that was very difficult for him. The next day they came to see me and then we were able to spend the weekend with them. It was a lot of fun!
