Unfortunately this big beautiful messy Apricot tree had not been taken care of by previous owners and was so overgrown huge branches were breaking and could have really hurt someone, so we had it removed. Oscar once again was super nosey and was determined to supervise the progress.

New Back Seat on the Golf Cart!

Tonight Hen and I installed the new back seat on the golf cart, obviously he did most of the work, but I did help some! Since then has also put on new fenders and a tag with our name and favorite teams.

Love our back Patio!

One of our most favorite features of our new home is our back patio. It has so many shady trees and is so quiet and peaceful.

So I have been wanting a patio swing that had a canopy cover for a couple months, and I kept seeing this one at smiths, but it wasn't the color I was looking for. Finally I decided to just get it, unfortunately it was on a night I was driving the convertible, so it look absolutely ridiculous as it stuck out the back as I drove it home. But then my sweetheart husband put it together and now I use it every morning and night!

Happy 38th Birthday Henry!!

 This year for Henry's birthday he decided to buy himself a golfcart along with contributions from family and friends. We have had a lot of fun with it. Since getting it, he has already put in a tinted windshield, a backseat, two new horns, headlight, taillights, blinker, armrests for the backseat, and a Becker Sticker on the front. Also new springs to help with stability and a magnet to let the golf cart go faster downhill. And a meter that shows how much battery life is left.
It has been fun to see him put it all together.
On his Birthday we went to dinner at Mandarin with his friend Steve and his wife Rita, then back to the house for ice cream cake. It was a great evening.

The dogs wanted to join in on the party of cake and ice cream.

Can't believe Hen got it to fit in the garage with our other cars... it is a 2 car garage. Apparently Oscar wants to go for a ride in the convertible..

And sometimes we even drive it church!
