Cold Charlie

 For those that think it is cold outside ( I would agree with you) Charlie doesn’t seem to be phased… and he is awfully blendy with the snow.

Fast forward to 20 min later to discover Charlie was waiting at the upstairs back door waiting to be let in. He didn't realize we were all downstairs in my office and he could have come in through the basement dog door.

I went outside to try and get him to come in. After a lot of coaxing he started to come towards me on the basement level but wouldn't put his paws down!!! I was so worried he broke something, but then when he switched paws I ran to him to feel his legs and paws and nothing seemed to be wrong. They must have been FROZEN! When I finally got him inside he was walking around fine. I felt so bad that I had left the porch door closed! Poor Charlie! Glad he was ok!

1988 Chevy!

 So grateful for this old 1988 Chevy! Grateful for the man who purchased it (my Dad’s Dad, affectionately known as PaPa) and grateful for the man that drives it today! (My Dad!) Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall, this workhorse and my Dad,  serve every member of our family and others!! Thank you Curt Howes for coming to the rescue once again with it today!

New Niece Hattie!

 We have a new niece!!! My heart is so full! Hattie Lu was born on January 6th at 12:17pm. 7 lbs. So stinking cute!!! Such a beautiful blessing during such dark and cold days.💕
