Typical Sunday Afternoon at the Becker House....

So we dug up the old webcam today in preparation for our first Skyping with my Sister who moved to Japan this weekend. Apparently there are some interesting features that came along with it.....

Last night when we got home we set off a few fireworks, apparently Cali is not a fan of them. We found her upstairs in the bathtub after we came back into the house! That has to be the funniest/saddest thing I have ever seen!

Help to mourn my ipod....

Picture it.....beautiful day in Virginia, taking a nap on a float in the pool, while listening to my ipod. Then out of no where I feel something land on my chest. PANIC set in and and I jump up so suddenly that my ipod falls to the bottom of the pool! I hurry and swim to the bottom to retrieve it... Ok, so you are saying why on earth did she have her ipod so close to the water and second what jumped on you that caught you by suprise? First I just thought it would be nice to listen to my music while I laid out and for over an hour I had been fine in this position on my float in the pool. Second the object that landed on me was a potato chip my husband decided to throw on me from the other side of the pool(because he loves to be a prankster). How was I supposed to know it wasn't a bug, plus up until that point I had been alone at the pool. Sad day! So I went online and there were websites that suggested I put my ipod in a bowl of rice for 24 hours to see if it could dry out and work. Unfortunately it did not work for me....

So now that Hen has a new car we are trying to sell the old thunderbird! You know you want it! There is nothing wrong with it, our driveway is just starting to look like a used car lot. We are trying to get rid of it for $2,000.00. It is a 1995, 2 door coupe, 124,000 miles, with awesome a/c and an even awesomer stereo system! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HENRY!

For Hen's birthday we finally got him a car just for him!! 2002 Toyata Camry SE! We bought it from my brother in law Cole and flew out to Nebraska to drive it home. It is a stick shift, so I can't really drive it. But I know Hen is enjoying it.
