And thats a wrap! 2022 Becker Halloweenpalooza is going to bed! With over a hundred trick or treaters, I would call it a success! Oh and a first place win in my company’s costume contest!

Today in Primary, I had rolled the big tv in to watch the YouTube video below and as I walked over to the tv one of the kids yelled out, “are we going to watch stranger things??” 😂😂😂
Saddest and scariest sound in the world! I still don’t know how she got hurt. She just came running to me crying. Poor thing. She must have stepped wrong or on something sharp maybe? She has acted fine ever since. When I first heard it I literally thought she broke something.
Feeling so loved and blessed today!! Thank you all for the kind birthday wishes!! Guess I better enjoy this last year of “youth”!! Love these nieces and nephews of mine! After dinner we went back to my house to play games and have cake!

It’s getting windy, so I went to check on the inflatables and didn’t realize the wind blew the door open… somebody decided they would come out the front door uninvited…ahem…Lucy… while Oscar only came out half way and perfect child Charlie stayed in the house. Of course… I am going to give Lucy some credit for not taking off. If it had been Lily or Brody they would have taken off so quick! So proud of her for not going far!! We live on such a busy street we never let them out in the front yard. Way too scared they could get hit by a car.
On a side note, don’t know who ordered the crumble cookies, thank you if it was you!

Super stoked for my parents whose pool was finally completed in Holladay! Our family finally has a pool again after a 28 year hiatus! Thanks Mom and Dad! Best Christmas present ever that was announced last December! I have already had the chance to swim some great laps in it and race my nieces and nephews!
When the power company tells you that you won’t have power from 7am- 11pm. This is Henry’s response… challenge accepted! He even hooked up my makeup mirror and blowdryer to our generator. Husband of the year!!! Not only that, but he had our ice machine hooked up, computer, and internet going as well!

It has been a hard week between two of our pups being sick and neighbor drama but there have been also countless blessings interwoven throughout.
First, I can’t tell you how humbled I am by the outpouring of love and support from past and present friends over this trial. Thank you all for your love and comforting words, you have no idea how grateful and blessed we feel to know you! And somehow amidst all the adversity, I have felt a calming peace all week because of you and from my constant companion The Holy Ghost.
First, on Tuesday and getting to sub on Hens shift at the temple and getting to spend precious time there together.
Then taking Charlie to the ER in Layton and finding out Dr Kara was there that day and all the meds he has been on are helping him get back to normal.
And then having the opportunity to attend one of our sweet primary kids baptisms today. There was a beautiful piano number that was played that did wonders drowning out all the negative voices in my head.
As I prayed to know what I am supposed to learn from this trial, the overwhelming thought of patience came to my mind. And I am so grateful that while there has been so much hate spewed at us, I am grateful that I do not feel anger. It has occurred to me this week that because we have put up so many roadblocks to keep Satan and his followers out of our lives, he is now using other people to get to us. The saddest part is that they don’t even realize they are being used. So I continue to pray for them and us to be able to live peaceably one day.
