On Thanksgiving Day, while the women were home cooking, the men (Henry, my Dad, and my Grandpa) went to Zion's National Park in Southern Utah where they took some beautiful photos.

Well Hello, Mr. President!

On November 18th, with camping chairs and blanket in hand, Hen and I walked to the back of the seventy or so person line at the Southtowne Costco. This is where we would spend the next 17 hours waiting to meet President Bush. Because it was so cold and we were so close to the front of the line we were able to sleep inside the breezeway of the Costco during the night. It was a long time waiting but it was well worth it to shake his hand and get a signed copy of his book. When I shook his hand, he looked me in the eye and said in a very southern accent "Hey there Darling, you didn't stay out there all night, did ya?" And my response was "Of course I did Mr. President!" That made it totally worth it! At which time I promptly went home, took a much needed shower, and went to BED! Unfortunately Hen had to go to school and I honestly don't know how he stayed awake!

First Time Curling Ever

Yesterday I went with a group of people from my work to learn how to "Curl". You may remember seeing it on tv for the winter olympics, and let me tell you it is a blast! We actually played at the Olympic Oval in Kearns and used the actual "Stones" that were used in the Utah Winter Olympics. If you are ever invited to go, I suggest you do, it is so much fun!
Yes that is me in the back right corner, on my butt on the ice... But hey our team won overall!

Below is me playing the position of "Skip"

Me in the back being "Skip" again.
