All is right at the Becker house again! Everybody altogether. Can’t wait to sleep in our bed and not an air mattress tonight!

Moving day stage one commences! A few things to note: I’m smelling very manly today because I had to use hens deodorant… mine somehow got packed… dogs are at daycare, check, please note the descriptive naming of hens boxes 😬! Hey! Atleast he finally packed some after having a massage yesterday!

Poor Lucy, I think the boxes and Mom’s stress are getting to her. Trying to work from home this morning and she has decided this is a perfect place to be. 🤦‍♀️

I tried to explain to her that wherever mom and dad go, she goes. And she doesn’t have to worry about a thing. She doesn’t have to pack a box or move a box. Just bring herself.

If only she could understand.

Amidst the chaos, trying to find the bits of joy. Example 1-the other day whilst moving, one of the movers kept putting my Vermont teddy bear in different positions in my new master bedroom every time I walked by. It made me smile.

2- back to uhaul today for more boxes and the lady behind the counter called me babygirl probably 5 times. She is much older than me and while I normally don’t like for strangers to call me dear or hun or mam, there was something so endearing because she is probably old enough to be my grandmother. Made me feel young anyway. 💕

This has has truly been an adventure already!

Broken garage door at 11:30pm last night ✅

Stayed up with repairman until 3am trying to get it safe enough to lower manually ✅

Hen locked me out of the house today while I was enjoying the backyard with the dogs and had to wiggle through the dog door again like a worm!✅

Still no working garage door…✅

But hey atleast it is Friday!!!! 🤦‍♀️

The problem with air mattresses is that they are so close to the ground, the dogs think they are fair game… this is Hen buried in fur daughters…💕

I was looking back through my photos and came across the one from the day I moved the dogs to the new house…have you ever seen something so ridiculous…? 🤦‍♀️

Someone decided since the air mattress is low to the ground… that she would just stealthily sneak up here for some attention and then proceeded to zonk out! Turkey…

The second photo I thought was so sweet with Oscar snuggling in Patsy. 💕

Starting to put my office together downstairs and it is a zoomie morning! They LOVE to find circles! So they have been running around in a big circle through the basement and then outside and back again. Also funny to see them change directions. This has been going on for five minutes straight…

So that was fun… brought the dogs over to the new house and the passcode box on the garage had dead batteries all of a sudden… so the only way I could get in was through the dog door…. So glad that wasn’t on camera!

This guy is something else!!!!! Supposed to be focusing on the inside of the house today and he decides to drive the barely charged golf cart in the rain to our new house but ran out of battery on the way there. Atleast he was resourceful and not only had packed the battery on board, but found an outlet at north canyon park to charge just enough to get the rest of the way… he had some guardian angels today, I’m sure of it..especially because they knew I would have lost my mind if we had to waste time that we no longer have….

Naughty Pups

This is not one of those bits of joy. I had counted out 30 cups of food and put it in this bin… and while hen and I weren’t home, Oscar dumped it over and Lucy ate ALL OF IT! She is not getting dinner!
