Patsy surgery

Poor girl. Today was her spay surgery. So far she is doing really well! She ate her dinner and drank water. But we have caught her licking too many times so now the dreaded neck tire! The vet said we wouldn’t need it… glad we have a plethora of doggie items at our house when we are in need of something. Despite being sore, she is in pretty good spirits!

I was doing dishes this morning and looked out to the patio and saw that someone had decided to declare themselves queen of the patio… lol. Never seen a dog up on that table before… funny girl.💕🐾🐾💕

Patsy Joins the Family

Funny the difference a day makes…😊 I was so content to just have two dogs for a while as our hearts are still trying to heal from the emptiness of our beloved Charlie crossing the rainbow bridge. But life had other plans. 

Meet our newest fur child Patsy! She is a five year old Old English Sheepdog we adopted through Great Pyr rescue today. 

Oscar and Lucy have already taught her how to use the dog doors, where to drink water, and how yummy plain cheeseburgers from McDonald’s are! 

She has the sweetest temperament and we are excited for her to join our family. She has a short summer cut but her fur will grow in like the second picture eventually.

A work in progress lol, she looks so little! She will fit in more when her coat grows in. Such a cutie! We love her already!

Cameron's get sealed

Feeling so blessed to have had the opportunity to attend the sealing of our dear friends and their cute kids in the San Diego temple today. 

Followed by a delicious lunch at Trupianos Italian Bistro in Fallbrook, Cali. A day we won’t soon forget. 💕 Such a special and beautiful Spirit was felt throughout the ceremony and in just being in that sacred building. So grateful for temples, and the precious memories and experiences they provide.  

One funny side note is Henry Joseph Becker IV packed a white shirt but forgot to pack cufflinks, so this morning he sent me into Target on a hunt. Of course, they didn’t have any, but decided to think outside the box and found some earrings that managed to do the trick! 🤣We had the privilege of celebrating our good friends getting sealed in the San Diego Temple!
