Lucy leaps from car window on way home from grooming

 Counting my blessings tonight. It is beyond a miracle that this girl is sleeping seemingly unscathed after she jumped out of the car window today while I was driving at 30 mph on Orchard drive. She saw someone walking a dog and decided to go meet it. If there had been a car behind us I’m sure the outcome would have been heart shattering. I have been watching her like a hawk since 4ish and so far she seems her normal self. Continuing to pray that she is ok.

Patsy: “I smell it too!”

Lucy: “They must have made those yummy meat sticks!” 

Oscar: “I could literally eat a hundred of those things.”

Lucy: “Not if I got to them first!!”

Patsy: “They aren’t going to forget we are down here locked in this room right? They will save some for us right!?!?”

Lucy: “They better save some or there will be he*^ to pay!”

Oscar: “It’s one thing to make us miss out on all the fun and another thing entirely to make us spend time in this room… what is all this junk anyway?” “And why is it taking up space in our room??”

Patsy: “well half of these boxes smell like mom, they must be things she has worn before”

Lucy:”All I know is they better give us at least two of those meat sticks each! None of this breaking in half stuff! Like they think we don’t see them try to make it look like more than it is.”

Oscar: “ok, ok, on the count of three I will lead us off so that they can hear us upstairs and remember we are down here. 1..2..3..”

ICI Conf 2025 in Boca Raton Florida

 Henry and I have had very different days… I attended an accounting conference, Hen went off shore fishing… how’d it be! Mr. international man of leisure! 

We both had interaction with wildlife. For hen, he caught king fish, Mahi Mahi, Benita, and saw dolphins. For me there was a bird flying around the conference room that kept dive bombing from the chandeliers. 😂 

I think we can all agree you would have preferred to tag along with Hen today… me included 😂

The West Boca Raton ward did not disappoint today! We happened upon their primary program! 💕💕💕 So grateful to have been blessed by their Sweet Spirits by word and song! And of course some comedy! They ended with the song I Believe in Christ. One of my most favorite songs! Their conviction and strength was so uplifting and brought a beautiful Spirit that could be felt by all.

While we were in Florida, our sweet dog sitter watched our kids for us!

Oscar has a new girlfriend! 🥰🐾🐾🥰

16th Anniversary

Here’s to 16 years of well wedded something… 

It’s not always wedded bliss, but somehow we make it through to the other side of the hard stuff side by side. 

Headed out to my annual tax and accounting conference. 

Grateful for this EC of mine even if he drives me up the wall some days!
