Panama Canal Cruise!

A few other fun photos from the trip! 

We had a great time but just a healthy reminder that smiley photos don’t always show reality. 

I got really sick half way through our trip which is why you don’t see any Panama, Jamaica, and Costa Rica excursions. I spent many days of our 12 day cruise in bed unwell. And after being home continue to battle the virus’s that hitched a ride. 

I’m slowly getting better and am grateful to be able to recuperate at home!!

               

Nothing says Happy Valentines Day quite like airboats, alligators, and the Everglades! Hen also managed to squeeze in lunch at my favorite restaurant Houston’s! It was a long travel day but we made it home safe and sound!

Cartagena Columbia

 Some pics from our stop in Cartagena Columbia! Definitely some interesting sites and history! Our tour guide took us to the top of Castillo San Felipe de Barajas. And of course from the top Hen spotted the closest Funeral home down below… we did see lots of beautiful wildlife at a sanctuary before boarding the ship.

Panama Canal

Going through the Panama Canal locks has been epic this morning! Now it is even more wild to be sitting in a fresh water LAKE with other ships before we go back through again!

Earthquake on our cruise!

 Say what now? We were in Columbia today… Panama tomorrow…and  Costa Rica on Monday…maybe send some prayers our way, just in case? Water seems fine where we are right now…It ended up being a non event. But still pretty crazy...

Aruba

 Aruba sailing and snorkling on a fabulous catamaran! Our second snorkel site was the Antilla ship wreck! So many beautiful varieties of fish and saw a few sea turtles too! Life is good!

This woman on the catamaran came up to me after the excursion and told me she took some photos of me jamming out on the boat. She said I just looked so happy and peaceful and in my element. I said I was! And while I wish the photos were a little more flattering, just looking at them reminds me how wonderful those moments were just feeling the sun and the breeze on that catamaran that day! A very very wonderful moment, I am happy to remember even if I look awful in the photos.

Bahamas

 Best day ever! We had the best guide for jet skis going full throttle for an hour to keep up! So much fun! Crystal clear water and white sand beach is heaven on earth! Love Half Moon Cay Bahamas!!!
