Happy 33rd Birthday Henry!!

So every year Henry's Birthday somehow turns into Henrypalooza! So for this year I got a giant inflatable cake for the front yard. The picture below was taken at night time. So when he drove home from Wendover at 4am he saw it in the front yard. Then because I had put it up on the 4th of July the neighbors just thought I was being patriotic "America's Birthday", so I guess it could be used for both lol… After the inflatable cake came Stadium of Fire on Friday with awesome fireworks and Carrie Underwood performing live. (Ok so Carrie might have been more for me, than for Hen :) )We had great seats! It was a night to remember! Although the traffic definitely was not fun getting there and leaving, I really don't know how people deal with that traffic in Provo! Then Saturday our awesome neighbor made this fun cake below for Henry- suits him perfect I think! My mom also had us over for dinner for Hen's favorite pulled pork sandwiches and a gift of some great fireworks. That night Hen put on his own fireworks show. Don't worry, they were all legal fireworks. Our neighbors even came over to watch with us. The situation became a bit dicey when a firework that had multiple explosions that were supposed to go straight into the air tipped over mid fire and fired at least 5 fireworks towards different neighbors houses including ours. Lily and I were sitting in a chair and had to jump up and go running to escape one! We were SOOOO lucky no harm was done. Our guardian angels must have been looking out for us that night! My gift to Hen was plane tickets for a trip to Connecticut and Lake Champlain to visit his family back east in August. The last photo was of Inflatable cake in our living room, yes you read that right. It began to rain and Hen wasn't ready for me to take it down, so I had to relocate to our living room until he went back to Wendover. Good Grief Charlie Brown! All in all I think it was a successful birthday, but hey you don't have to take my word for it. :)
