Henry and I got to escape to the Homestead to use our gift certificate my parents got us a couple of years ago. It was a great little getaway during a stressful month.

We found this cute little donut shop called Judy's Donuts and they were so good!

Worshipful Master Henry J. Becker IV

Congratulations Henry Joseph Becker IV, or should I say Worshipful Master of Uintah Lodge #7! I know it’s been a long road to get here, but you have finally made it. It was additionally special because his Mom and Rick were able to flew out for the occasion. Cheryl got up and shared some kind words with Henry and presented him with his grandfathers masonic ring. Henry presented me with a beautiful bouquet of red roses and I presented him with his engraved gavel. A day to remember for sure!

No, I’m not going to embarrass you and tell all your Brothers about how you were a mean whittle kid when you were growing up. Lol.

I know that you don’t like to be called worshipful so you would rather they call you Master. Lol

I have waited for the right time to do this

I know you have worked sooo hard for this position and we are extremely proud of you tonight and  so I wanted to give you something extremely special to me from my father that I know he would want you to have.

I really wasn't going to decorate the outside this year, but a dear friend inspired me. So glad now that I did!

The Rat Caper

As of late we have had quite the rat problem. To date Charlie or Oscar or both have brought in total of 4 dead rats into the house. Some downstairs, some upstairs, all disgusting. This latest one I named Templeton, until he was found dead in our basement. Poor Charlie has had a rough go. When he killed the first rat his nose got scratched and it blew up into a giant goose egg. Many vet visits later and tests and it was found he had ecoli and strep! After a couple months of draining goo from a hole in the top of his nose, it is finally starting to look normal again.

Thanksgiving

This year I had a fun time cooking Thanksgiving dinner with my Mom. Other than being without power for half the day on Wednesday, all went well.

Say goodbye to old Chandelier

 Ever since we changed out our entry light, I have wanted to change out our chandelier, to a piece that goes with the entry light. After many many many months of indecisiveness and looking at probably over a thousand options in stores and online. I finally decided to go with this one.
